Kitty is someone who I have followed online for the past few years after having the pleasure of chatting with her on Sex, Drugs and How We Roll a couple years back talking about fisting and International Fisting Day. She is a writer and activist; she tours internationally speaking at universities and conferences about feminism, sex work, body positivity, queer politics, and more. She lives in Oakland, California with her wife, boyfriend, and two cats, Foucault and Nietzsche.
We’ll be talking about the book, how it came together, the voices that came together to make it and the ideas it brings forth. We’ll be talking about actively working to create culture and the sort of world that we want to live in. We’ll get into the tough work of people living in community and learning to be good to each other. Please tune in at 7 Pacific time on kootenaycoopradio.com or follow Ankors FrontDesk on Soundcloud.
And of course this isn’t the first time that we’ll be diving into such topics on the show. If you want to prime yourself (or just fill your ear holes with some delicious radio while you wait for this interview) I will recommend these episodes from our vault. And of course…. become a member of your local home grown community powered radio station.
